Pendle Leisure Trust

Pendle Leisure Trust started working with Alliance Leisure in 2002 with the first partnership project between the two companies involving the extension of the gym at Pendle Leisure Centre in Colne. Since then Pendle have worked with TA6 and Alliance Leisure on numerous projects, including new builds and refurbs all of which have enhanced the Trust’s facilities and activities.

Working in partnership with Alliance Leisure, Pendle Leisure Trust was the first Trust in the UK to build the first public sector Spa.

Throughout these projects TA6 has provided sales, marketing and training support to ensure the success of each development. We have trained over 200 staff across the years ranging from senior management through to frontline reception, fitness and attendant teams.

Most notably, with the increased focus on digital marketing since around 2012, TA6 have communicated with over 200k people in the Pendle region through Facebook advertising and generated approximately 40k website visits.

In 2019 as we complete our Power Pack support we leave the Trust at their highest ever membership figure – a task only achieved through proper partnership working.

In any dealings we have had with Alliance Leisure they have always been professional, trustworthy and honest and have supported the Trust in every way, including full marketing and sales support on any new project we have undertaken. As part of our long term partnership with Alliance, which has now naturally come to an end, the support and advice we have received over the years has left a legacy which now enables the Trust to operate confidently a lot of the services ourselves. As a Trust we will still be working with Alliance Leisure for ad hoc work such as sales training etc.
