South Lanarkshire Leisure & Culture (SLLC) became a Power Pack Partner with TA6 in 2017 and from the initial feasibility and system audits through to the staff training and marketing activity, we have developed a 5 year strategy to increase the fitness revenue across the portfolio of sites.
Initiating a cultural change in the organisation has been a core focus since day 1 and ensuring this aligns with the company values and ethos has maintained the staff’s buy-in to our joint working. Having a balanced approach to increased sales and retaining customers has resulted in a workforce that our now more commercially aware yet still focused on community leisure provision.
Updating the existing retention strategy, the ‘Perfect Fit’, has resulted in lower attrition rates and a target-driven marketing plan has increased awareness and membership sales. The introduction of new staff and corporate membership categories has also seen a considerable increase in the DD line, and in the length of membership across all sites.
